Please do the following test to see if you are qualified to be a poodle owner:
1. Do you have any experience with breeding a poodle?
2. Are you hoping to get a ‘teacup poodle’ without any breeding poodle experience?
3. Do you wish to bring a two months old puppy toy or teacup poodle home?
4. Is there any child in his/her early years?
5. Are you always away from home?

   Result:
*  If you have ticked five of the questions, you should not have a teacup poodle
*  If you have ticked one or more question(s), you might have to think about whether having a teacup poodle at home is a right decision to the puppy and you.

• Teddy Mommy advices to first time parent:
  
• Teddy Mommy has met many not well-qualified (please do the test above) parents to be, who have a poodle based on their impulse buying urges.   

Mostly they first purchase of poodle because of likability of poodle without a second thought, which have caused many issues after all. 

Around a week time after the impulse purchase, some of the poodle puppies would start suffering from the sickness because the lack of experience parent. Some parents somehow do not even pay attention to the state of the puppy, and having their puppy for a shower, that has made the situation turned worse. 

• 

  To avoid the situation keep happening, Teddy Mommy wants to give all the first time poodle parents some suggestions:

   

  First of all, if you never have any small size of dog, you are possibly yet ready for a teacup poodle.

  Because a teacup poodle will need more time to adapt to a new environment. This will considerably longer than other size of poodle.

  each size of poodle adapting period of time：

  Size of poodle	Period of time
  Toy	A week
  Toy Teacup	Two weeks
  Teacup	Three weeks

  

  2. Second of all, you will have to pay attention to the age of the puppy poodle and its size.

  If it’s a two months old toy poodle puppy, you might be able to look after it without professional help. In the other way around, it would be different for a teacup poodle puppy. (Please refer to the chart given below)

  Toy teacup	2-and half month- old to three- month-old
  Teacup	3-month-old to 4-month-old

  

  If you really want to have a teacup poodle and after careful consideration you think you are able to handle all the hassles.
